But it’s the bathtub that really makes a statement. The 300kg stone masterpiece was saved from the original bathroom and given a second life for our Yandina client.

Waterproofing matters
Farmer Constructions owner Dani Farmer said this major refurbishment project was necessary as the bathroom, laundry and bedroom had suffered extensive water damage after the bathroom waterproofing failed.
“This shows how important waterproofing is in a bathroom project. It doesn’t matter how nice the space is, poorly installed waterproofing will ultimately fail requiring major rectification works,” Dani said.
“All waterproofing should be carried out by a fully licensed tradesperson and adhere to the requirements of the Building Code of Australia and the Australian Standards.”
