White has always been a popular choice for bathrooms due to its ability to deflect light, creating a sense of spaciousness. White and contrasting timber work together for a gorgeous effect in this bright and beautiful bathroom renovation at Moffat Beach.
Our client, Kylie, wanted a minimalist yet welcoming look that complemented the Queenslander-style home and modernised the space. While Kylie had plenty of ideas, she wasn’t exactly sure how to bring them together.
Contemporary and elegant
Dani suggested a layout that maximised the use of space and the light coming in through the window. Vertical subway tiles in white add depth and make the ceiling feel higher. A slimline bath, wall niche, brushed gold accessories and a round frameless mirror give the space a contemporary, clean feel.
A floating timber vanity offers a touch of earthiness, while the elegant matte white curved basin sink creates a sense of softness and flow.
The complete design and construction project included demolition, flooring repair, waterproofing, plumbing, tiling, painting and fixture installation.

The result is everything that Kylie wanted and more: minimalist and calming, classic yet modern. Needless to say that Kylie and her family are “beyond happy with the final result”.
