A recent project Farmer Constructions completed in Golden Beach ticks all those boxes and more! This bathroom project was a rebuild as part of a more extensive home renovation.
A stunning new double ensuite became the pièce de résistance of a new main bedroom retreat, with a day spa-inspired style that’s perfect for relaxing at the end of the day…or any time.
The original bathroom was demolished and replaced with a new one that complements the ensuite style.
Organic and sophisticated
This architecturally designed bathroom achieves that rare but often sought-after quality of organic and sophisticated.
The sand colour palette of the immaculately laid textured subway tiles creates an earthy foundation for the space, complemented by custom timber cabinetry and stone-look twin basins.
Using white on the remaining walls allows the natural light to dance and reflect, giving an exquisite sense of vibrance and ease.
Clean lines flow throughout with oversize white floor tiles, subway tiles and bold black window framing leading the eye to an elegant, semi-freestanding bathtub.
Bringing the spa experience home
Farmer Constructions Director, Dani Farmer said more homeowners were seeking a spa or resort-like experience at home.
“People are looking for a sanctuary away from the outside world where they can relax and switch off. This master bathroom has all the hallmarks of a day spa, with neutral colours, natural décor, a rain shower head and plenty of open space,” Dani said.
“All it needs is some plush, snuggly towels, spa-worthy toiletries, and perhaps a sprinkle of essential oil to complete the spa-like experience.”
The complementary style of the family bathroom (below right and centre right) maintains the look and feel, with the natural light and vertically laid subway tiles opening up the smaller space.
